How a trade settles

A trade is one transaction on Robinhood Chain. The wallet calls the token's bonding curve. The curve moves the quote asset and the tokens in that same transaction. There is no second chain and no message to wait for.

Buy

• Connect a wallet and switch it to Robinhood Chain.
• Enter an ETH amount (or the curve's quote token) and a slippage tolerance.
• The transaction calls buy on the token's curve. The curve takes the tax, then sends the tokens to your wallet.

Sell

• The sell tab uses the token balance in the connected wallet.
• The transaction calls sell on the same curve.
• The curve pays ETH, or the quote token, back to that wallet.
